The Spring Framework seems ideal for our purposes but the tooling, not so much. The project we are working on is intended for open source distribution. I have to say that we are spending way too much time resolving issues with tools and dependencies and not enough time on the app. I suspect the RedHat VSCode plugin for Java is in the mix but need help figuring out how to work around the issue. There is something going on in VSCode that's not being reported anywhere that I can find. The project builds, and packages in Maven just fine and it can be debugged in attach mode which is tedious at best. However there are no errors reported in the PROBLEMS, OUTPUT, DEBUG CONSOLE or TERMINAL tabs. Obviously the "Debugger for Java" extension thinks there is a build problem. I have a project that builds perfectly in Maven and when I launch the debugger in Visual Studio Code this notification appears in the lower right-hand corner of the VSCode window. Not sure but if anyone from the RedHat project reads this, it looks to me like a bug, or deficiency. Wiping out the workspace cache caused the plugin to recreate project data from the maven spec. classpath file was out of sync with the POM file. Apparently the RedHat-Developer plugin managed to get out of sync. I had renamed a number of folders, class names and packages. Here is a link to the relvant page: VSCODE Clean Workspace Directory. Problem solved I resolved this issue by clearing the workspace cache in VS code. However, the footage shown was clearly marked as being captured from PS5, so we know that the game is headed to Sony’s new-gen console, at the very least.Update. The trailer was entirely voiced in Korean, which is one of at least a few signs that Project EVE might still be a ways off from release here. In addition to monsters, it seems like Eve will have at least one robotic companion along for the ride, who seems to fulfill the role of advisor about the strange post-apocalyptic world through which she moves. ![]() In another intriguing scene, we saw her moving at high speed down a lengthy tunnel, even as she continued to fight a monstrous foe. It also appears to be a game that isn’t afraid of a bit of impressive setpiece animation, as Eve flips and slashes her way up and across some massive monsters. ![]() The creature designs are eye-catching, covered in tentacles and blade-like teeth. ![]() Eve wields a sword in the battles we saw in the trailer, and uses the weapon in a number of eye-catching aerial maneuvers. In other areas, we see her moving through a seemingly ruined version of Earth, overwhelmed by parasitic organisms.īattles look to follow the stylish vibe you might expect in a game like Bayonetta or Devil May Cry, with a big focus on wild acrobatic moves, as well as sequences of third-person traversal. ![]() In one opening sequence, she battles a giant monster attached to a space station before being thrown out into open space. The game sees a female protagonist (presumably the Eve named in the title) as she faces off against an array of warped monstrosities. The third-person action game, being developer by Koren team SHIFTUP, showed off a variety of fast-moving and exciting sequences in today’s trailer. Project EVE has not been a project on many of North American gamers’ radars, but today’s video of new gameplay may help to change that.
